Transmissions are slow, what could be wrong? and What do I do when I click on a link and nothing happens?

You need to understand that many things can cause the Internet or our system to run slow or seem to malfunction. It is always a good idea to first verify that you still have a connection to your Internet Service Provider (AOL, MSN, CompuServe or a Local Provider). We suggest the following things:

  1. First, hit the stop button in your browser and then click on the link again. This resets the command and sometimes solves the problem.
  2. If this does not work, check your connection, try to go to another Internet site such as http://www.yahoo.com/ or http://www.microsoft.com/.
  3. If you still don't get a response hang up and re-connect to your ISP. If none of this works, re-boot your computer. If you still are having problems, e-mail us at Help!  (members only)

Must I archive all my listings?

No... We have added a feature which allows this feature to be turned (ON or OFF) The feature is (ON) by Default. Contact us if you would like the Archive feature to be turned (OFF)

Note: If this feature is (OFF) you will not be able to track deleted listings for any reason. If it is (ON) you will be able to track SOLDs, WITHDRAWNs, EXPIREDs. E-mail us if you have a question: Help!.

How do I add multiple pictures?

Simply click Browse again from the listing menu, select an image, enter a caption and click Add. When you add more than one photo, a drop down menu will appear under the listing. The user can then use this to view other pictues of the property. It is important to name the picture exactly what it is. Example: Front view, rear riew, interior view, pool view, front yard, etc. This information will appear in the drop down menu indicating what picture will be viewed next. The page will reload with the new image in place of the former image.

How do I bookmark a property page when the site has frames at the top?

We use frames on our site for easy navigation, but you may still bookmark a page in a frame. On a web site with frames, you are really looking at two or more pages. Here are a couple of tricks you can use to bookmark a specific page:

  1. If you use Microsoft's Internet Explorer, you have it easy. Simply right-click inside the frame or page you would like to bookmark and click "Add to Favorites". (Macintosh users click and hold for 2 seconds)

  2. If you use the new Netscape, you can also right-click and click "Add Bookmark", but it places the bookmark randomly within your bookmarks. (Note: you will notice that Netscape calls this list Bookmarks while Microsoft Internet Explorer and AOL call them Favorites)
